This is a basic collection of chart sizes to assist you in figuring out your measurements before making a purchase..
Because there are set standards in the calculations of sizes we suggest you use these chart sizes as a rough guide. You need to be aware of some of your own measurements to be able to use the charts accurately. If you want help calculatiog your measurements yourself, read on.
Use a flexible tape measure in all of the following situations:
For Sweaters, Shirts and Dresses: Place the tape measure under your arms and circle the tape around the fullest part of the chest.
For Pants and Jeans: Men and children will need up to two measurements: Waist and Inseam.
Women will need up to three measurements: Waist, Hip and Inseam.
CHEST: Place the tape measure under your arms and circle the tape around the fullest part of the chest
WAIST: Wrap the tape measure around your natural waistline. Keep the tape comfortably loose.
HIP: Measure your hips by circling the tape measure around the fullest part of your body between your waist and the top of your legs.
INSEAM: To measure your inseam, find a pair of pants that fit you the way you like and then measure the length from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg. If you are purchasing pants you intend to machine wash, we suggest you add one inch to account for shrinkage.
